Accounting Internship
The objective of the role:
As an Accounting Intern, you will be learning about all facets of an accounting cycle by supporting our senior Accountants with daily tasks and activities.
You can expect to learn about new bookkeeping tools and software, prepare journal entries, track and analyze transactions, prepare transactions for financial reports while staying up-to-date with relevant accounting standards and technological developments, and more.
Detailed responsibilities/accountabilities
As an Accounting Intern, you will assist with the daily accounting processes of the entities of the group. Under the direct responsibility of the general accountant, you will have diverse and various tasks which are divided into two main categories: classic accounting duties and administrative work, including:
- Assisting with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
- Working with bookkeeping software.
- Learning how to work as part of the Accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company or clients.
- Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations.
Requirements
• Final year student or fresh graduate, majoring in Accounting/Auditing/Finance.
• Available for a 3-6-month FULL-TIME internship
• Being motivated in working in accountancy at the international level.
• Having a basic understanding of accountancy and bookkeeping.
• Good command of English is required (both verbal & written).
• Good ability to use Microsoft Office (especially Excel) is necessary.
